Built in 1905, The Sundy House Resort in Delray Beach is a historic project integrated with innovative and high efficiency systems. The resort is a rehabilitated and adaptive re-use of the city's first mayor's house on the National Historic Register with the addition of an award-winning restaurant with 11 guest suites. The three major dining areas open up to the tropical water gardens that cool the air for outdoor dining. The pond systems are also part of the storm water treatment for the site. The Sundy House is currently part of a 6.7 acre historic redevelopment masterplan.
