At the corner of Swinton and Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, the historic building known as "Doc's" will be preserved as serve as an extension of the new restaurant amenities created in the new, adjacent 3-story, mixed use building. The City of Delray Beach requires the new building comply with their local Land Development Regulations (LDR) while maintaining the integrity of the historic building on site. As part of the LDR's, the new building is required to adopt one of the permitted building styles, the Art Moderne style was selected to compliment and celebrate the historic "Doc's".
