HERFF JONES PALM BEACH

Originally a funeral home, this 14,000 sf commercial space was converted into the new Herff Jones of Palm Beach. The site had three existing buildings flanking a parking lot; two of the smaller building were eliminated and the main building was transformed into a showroom and two levels of photography studios. The circulation within the building was an integral part of the renovation scope in addition to creating a clear, front entrance. The original entrances off of Dixie Hwy were eliminated or relocated and a new walkway from parking into the building was emphasized with landscaping. To support the programmatic requirements, a 2-story egress stair was added on the south side of the building and metal canopies were introduced over the main entrance and exits.
